Viola cornuta is one of the most well known edible flowers and we can see why! The beautiful blooms come in a wide array of colours and patterns and have been a popular choice for centuries. Well loved by the Victorians who not only crystallised them but used them for perfumes and for decorating confectionary. These small violas are a pale yellow cream with a light blue edge to the petals and have short stems. Quite variable, the colours can be very light to darker with stronger blue markings.
