Viola cornuta or horned violet is a wildflower native to the lower slopes of the Pyrenees mountains. Its flowers have 5 elongated petals and long slender stems. The graceful appearence makes them a lovely addition to wildflower meadow style cakes. This variety has pale cream petals with a small yellow centre.
